How do I fix the engine code P0053 on my 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe V8? also the check engine light is on.

Hi there,

This code is for the heater circuit on the bank 1 O2 sensor, sensor #1. This is the sensor before the converter on bank 1. Most of the time the heater element inside the sensor goes bad and replacing the sensor will resolve the issues.
