Hi there,

Several things other then the spark plugs can cause the P0300 random misfire code. It's possible there is an intake manifold gasket leak. The vehicle could also need a new distributor cap, rotor or plug wires. Sometimes weak fuel pressure or a plugged up fuel filter can also cause the code.
