I have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 with the 4.7 liter v8 in it. Check engine light has been on for a few months. I read the code and it's p0300 then I scanned it with a check engine reader and it said cylinder 8 misfire. I replaced all the spark plugs and replaced the coil on cylinder 8 and it didn't fix anything. I also replaced the pigtail to cylinder 8 and still didn't fix anything. What do you think the problem is?

Pull # 8 plug and check it, see if its getting wet, check the boot for water/rust evidence. Also make sure the plug is good.. New don't mean its good. Swap coil PAC from a working cylinder

P0308 Misfire number 8 cylinder

When you drive the vehicle does the CK ENG LT flash? if it does it is ignition related, if it just comes on solid, check the connection to the injector of number 8 cylinder you may even swap it out with another known working cylinder. The worste case would be a mechanical condition such as the valve of the cylinder,
