P1607 PCM internal shutdown timer slow rationality

Is there any temperature sensor code stored with this code? If there is you do the temperature sensor code before you can repair this code condition. What set this code is when at engine shut down  the engine temperature does not drop down enough or drops  too much during engine off time. As long as there is no temperature related code the fix for this is a Reprogram of the ECM. Check with the Dealer it may qualify for a Recall Campaign Bulletin # F29. Certain  bulletin has already been canceld , this campaign may have also been cancelled,
