How do I fix the engine code P161B on my 2007 Dodge Caliber?

P161B Battery disconnect /  TCM internal

There are several reason for this code, the battery was disconnected, the TCM been disconnected, The best fix is clear the code. if the code does not return within the first drive cycle you would need a factory level scan tool and perform a CVT verification test. If it does return Dodge has a TSB for this code condition and this will require the TCM and PCM to be reprogrammed.
