P1700 Ford -

Question

Reverse and Drive mode is not working. Engine Malfunction light and Wrench light are ON. Gear 1 is working..once the car reaches to 20-30kmph, sometime D mode works. Error codes are P1700 & P0741.

P0741 TCC solenoid,circuit error or stuck off

P1700 Transmission undetermined faiilure

P1700 will limit the amount of RPM , and the only gear that is available is 2nd and 5th gear, The condition of the transmission is more internal mechanical condition .A rebuild or another transmission is the only solution
