I got the engine code P0011 on my 2007 Kia Spectra EX 1.8L, how can I fix the code?

Hi there,

This code is for the exhaust variable timing control solenoid. it's possible the solenoid itself is the problem, however the timing could be off or there could be an issue with the oil level causing the code to appear. The solenoid is mounted to the front of the cylinder head on the driver side.
