pretty blue smoke from exhaust.. 107000miles odometer. Check engine light on. Needs a new engine and cat.convert. Will a 3.5L engine fit my Altima S? I am scared to put a 2.5L new, rebuild, or low mileage engine back in the car. Because of the design flaw in that engine. Also have tried every additive to fix the oil problem.. none work. Petitioned Nissan for assist. with their poor designed engine... their Goodwill campaign.. No luck there either. Appears Jasper Engines utilizes graphite packed pistons, and a metered Valve seal in hopes to stop the 2.5L they sell from using oil too soon.
