I just bought this car it has a little over 200,000 miles. The car is really clean everything was fine until the emissions control system light came on and now when I'm driving it sputters every now and then. I tightened the fuel cap but the light remains on. Is this a serious problem and what do I need to do also how much do you think it will cost me to fix it?? Thanks for your help!

If the CK ENG LT is on , Have the code access, Sputtering every now and then you may just be needing a major tune up

Ignition cap , igntion rotor, sparkplug wire and sparkplug are most the main cause for the sputtering to occur
