P0420 2007 Nissan Maxima -

Question

Check engine light came on and above code shown. Vehicle was diagnosed and confirmed catalytic converter needed to be replaced. Light has been on for 3-4 weeks. A few days ago, light went off. I had system cleared and code removed. I've driven about 100 miles and light has not come on. Is this normal? Do you think there still is problem with catalytic converter?

Di you got the same code the second time? Did you used a facotory catalytic converter?

It's not common for the light to come back after a few weeks. If the code was the same, you should take your Maxima back to the shop that change the cat.
