Can I drive my H3 home?

06 H coded at PO300 started making a bad misfire noise and ruff idel noise on hwy. I just changed spark pluggs in it. I live 20miles away. Can I drive it home tonight?

P0300 Random misfire

The H3 suffer alot from valve seat errosion, the best way to find the misfire is to use a leakdown test find which cylinder has the misfire, If you need to drive the vehicle clear the code condition a run the vehicle at a set speed, This will set a code, use the code and if the scantool you have has freeze frame note the speed that the code has set at with it fuel trim this can help determine what causing the misfire. Is it safe to drive? that up to the vehicle.

 

 Here is a owner of a vehicle , the driver is a woman who does not race te engine at all, just goes to work and home and a few errands, The vehicle had a P0300, and a rattle noise. She was told that this needed to be looked into. She delayed to have the vehicle looked into and waited until she can have more time to be without a vehicle for the day.Two weeks and still driving with the noise and a P0300.

 What can be easily fixed turned into a bid expense.
