P0335 Jaguar -

Question

i have just renewed the timing chains and tensioners. Is it possible that this code would show if the timing was wrong?

P0335 CKPS circuit malfunction.

If the chain was on wrong , this depends,  when the engine is cranked and there is a no start, you code P0335, Being a 1999 this does not set codes right away unless the ECM does not see a crank signal., If it codes  right away after it is cleared and the vehicle is crank with a no start. this is a problem with the CKP.
