P0131 - b1s1 - p0132 - p0420

Question

I have theses codes on my acura el 1.7 2001 r[placed spark plugs astill lose power is it the converter or fuel pump or o2 sensors

P0132 02 sensor circuit high Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0420 Catalytic below effiency Bank 1

In order for the catalytic to work properly you need a working 02 sensor which would be its Sensor 1. Because you have a either a failed 02 sensor or a disconnected 02 sensor you can expect the catalytic to code up also. If the vehcle is loosing power , it is not going to be the fuel pump. you would be stalling out. and there would be a engine cough, There are other component that can cause a the engine to loose power such as the ignition system where the ignition rotor tends to spin out of its position.or the distrubutor tends to bind .There are even cases where the ignition coil tends to internally crack causing a loss of power. Yes the catalytic convertor  can be the cause of loosing power even if it is partially plugged. or even the muffler can cause this .
