Randomly the car has no power, seems to bog down and the temp gage goes to the red. I have replaced the cylinder head temp sensor. There are 3 codes coming up and they are: p1299,p0625,p1285. It was doing this before I replaced the sensor. It had gone away after replacing and now is back with same symptoms. If anyone could shed some light on this problem it would be much appreciated. This is my wife's car and she is very unsure of driving it to work.

P1299 Cylinder head over temperature protection active

P1285 Cylinder head over temperature

P0625 Charging system low

How the radiator is there at least fluid whether water or mixed coolant? If the radiator is full you may just need a thermostat. which comes with the thermostat housing. as for P0625 this is the charging system, have the battery and the charging system check. Also, check to see if the drive belt is intact.
