Probable cause for my engine light staying on with two codes showing up when running diagnostic p1299 & p1285

P1285 Cylinder head over temperature condition

P1299 Cylinder head over temperature protection active

This is for engine cooling system concern, what set these code condition are coolant leaks, a thermostat and cooling fan clutch that is not properly cooling the radiator.
