P0403 - EGR flow circuit malfunction. What does it mean?

HI there,

This basically means that the computer is not seeing any change when the egr valve is open. This could be due to a bad egr, egr solenoid or a plugged egr tube. Sometimes the sensor can be the issue as well, but normally the code is a result of some other issue with the egr.
