Nissan 2000 Sentra GXE. After changing the MAF the idle speed is erratic with sometimes stall.

Question

I changed the MAF ( Mass Air Flow ) sensor then I noticed when I stop at a traffic light my idle speed goes down to 600.500.400.300.100 rpm then the Engine stops working.

Could that had effected the IACV?

Couple of Questions:
Why did you replaced the MAF sensor? What was the code before replacing the MAF? ist the engine light on now?

There are many components that can make the engine stall.

You should start by inspecting the transmission fluid level and condition. If the fluid is OK perform and idle adjustment.

Also, there was a recall for the camshaft position sensor that can cuase the engine to stall:
