2002 Lexus, V6: In the process of changing spark plugs, I found a lot of oil in the intake manifold and throttle body. I cleaned out the manifold, changed out plugs, and reassembled the engine. Cleared the fault code and ran it for a while. Fault code (1349) reappeared. Removed intake manifold and found oil again! Don't know what to do now! Original fault codes with my scanner 301, 303, 305 & 1349. My book says that 301, 303, 305 are cyl.#1,3 and 5. 1349 says "multiple misfires"

Best answer

P0301 Misfire number 1 cylinder

P0303 Misfire number 3 cylinder

P0305 Misfire number 5 cylinder

P1349 Variable valve timing

P1349 is for the right-side variable valve timing, how you are getting oil into the intake manifold, the only way possible would be the engine is overfilled, the engine bottom out, or the PCV system.

Lexus RX300 Variable Valve Timing

Here is a VVT for a Toyota, the only code present was P1349, the vehicle did not show any rough idle condition or a misfire condition, When it comes to P1349 this is more of a circuit problem such as poor connection or ECM problem.
