P1406 this depends on the engine size, There is a 2.0 and a 3.0 cylinder engine , This is for the EGR system  If you have this which is a DPFE you would replace this sensor. If you have a ESM  You would replace the whole unit. As for P0022 if there is misfire with this code you would need to do the chain. Here is a Ford Mustang 4.6 with a P0022 Some of the cause for P0022 is the VCT solenoid, or wrong application of oil filter.What happened in this case was the timing chain guides and the timing chain tensioner with a stretch timing chain. The fix was to replace the timing chain, the timing chain tensioner and timing chain guide.
