looking for a transmission fault code P180c for a 2007 BMW X3

Question

Ran through a carwash with a strong undercarriage spray and 2 miles down the road the transmission light came on (yellow gear icon) and the car acts like the transmission switched off (no forward or reverse). The lights for D N R change but the transmission does not engage. Use a torque OBD II scan and got a P180C fault.

P180C there is no code definition for this , if the gear selector changes and there is no gears such as foward and reverse, the only cause for this will be with the gear selector valve

I've got this same issue - Do I need to reset any code? Wait for something to dry out?
