2004 Nissan Maxima codes check-engine-light

Question

2004 Nissan Maxima, Engine sounds like it is pinging - this happens mostly at low revs when
accelerating uphill. Nissan dealer can not find any engine codes. Can anyone help?

First thing you need to do is check for code. Some auto parts or shop will check the code free for you. Without the code you will be just guessing what the problem is.
