My Passat has 4 codes, 300,301,302,303

Misfires on all 3 cylinders it appears.

Found "breather" hose not connected. Reconnected, car still won't run and all 4 codes return after clearing.

I've read replacing spark plugs may cure. I plan to replace all 6.
However, my thought is timing belt slip. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Including likely cost (in southern California) of timing belt replacement as this is beyond my skill/confidence level.

Thank you.
