My 2012 Ford Escape makes a screeching noise every time I come to a sudden stop

Anyone having this problem as I. My 2012 Ford Escape makes a screeching noise every time I come to a sudden stop. Does anyone know why and what it is? I recently took it in for service and was told that the back brakes were ok but the noise came back.

Noisy brakes, you can change over to a different manufactuer for the brakes,
