I have a 2008 saturn astra 1.8l 4 cyl it goes very well but in time the check engine lights ... P0014 has a good boot , good acceleration .... j extinguished the code but returned 2 -3 weeks later ...... thank you ...

P0014 Exhaust camshaft position (CMP) system performance

This condition you describe is what is termed as intermittent, what is very essential is good oil maintance, you have a soft code condition where the code appear 2-3 weeks later, when this becomes a hard set code condition it is advisable to replace both cam position actuator solenoid there is one for the intake and one for the exhaust.
