2007 Vauxhall Astra 1.8L with engine code P0170

Question

Failed mot on emissions so took it to a garage got it hook up on a diagnostic machine with came back with the fault code p0170, which is fuel running lean now not sure were to look and what to change in order to get it through the mot,looked on web sites and all the symptoms (ie warning lights misfire lack of power ect) I have none of those

P0170 Fuel trim too lean

Vacuum leaks are the number one cause for lean condition which upset the fuel to air ratio. One of the most overlook componenet is sparkplug, here is a sparkplug not properly installed, it was loose there was no misifire code condition ,no lack of power but a P0170 at load,
