Can a faulty catalytic converter cause a crankshaft sensor to show up on OBD two reader and cause the vehicle to shut off after coming up to operating temperature

Vehicle: 2005 Hyundai sonata GL. 2.4l

Hi there,

The converter can cause the car to turn off once it comes up to temp, but it will not cause the crank sensor code.
