I switched the metric instrument cluster in my 2005 E450 with an old one from a mph van. My Bullydog Tuner now does not get power from the OBDII receptacle. Don't know if other aspects of OBDII work. Do I have to find another instrument cluster that is compatible, or maybe its just a power supply wire difference?? Everything thing else seems to work fine, tho I haven't driven it yet, as we're settled into a campsite. I had the expense of matching the mileage on the odometer to that on the chassis, so really would like to keep it if usable....

Check the cigarrete lighter fuse or pin 16 of the OBD for power.

It might not be compatible due to the OBD II protocals , Look at the van you took the instrument panel , at the DLC connector the pins 14 and 6 should be presenst if it is not, its not compatible. It should have the same DLC pin arrangement you have. if its different  it is not compatible.
