What does it mean when my 2006 buick throws a p0053 and p0054 codes and what does it take to fix it.

My Buick is throwing P0053-0054 codes. I would like to know what it takes to fix it.

P0053 H02S heater resistance Bank 1 Sensor 1

P0054 H02S heater resistnace Bank 1 Sensor 2

Perform a 02 sensor resistance relearn procedure, what you do is use a scan tool and clear the code, regardless if there is a code in the system.what happens is the ECM is reset and the 02 values are relearned. This code is usally caused by a degraded 02 sensor due to the resistance value changing over time due to usage and mileage.
