i have the P0750 code showing on my 1996 F-150

Question

This code is coming up on the diagnostic test on my '96 F-150. I changed the shift solenoid and replaced trans fluid, reset the codes and drove for a while and the code came back again. Any advice of what to try next?

P0750 Shift solenoid 1 circuit failure

If the transmission is a 4R70W care needs to be taken when you mount the shift solenoid , the TCC shift solenoid bracket is position uner shift solenoids # 1 and #2 . it can tilt the shift solenoid. You will to test the SS1 for its proper power The shift solenoid should have power until the solenoid is energized  as it is driven , the power should drop .to less than 0.1 volts you can test this  from the ECM or the Transmission connector
