Hello, Please my car is a Lexus RX300, 2002 model. The scan message say"A/F sensor heater,P1155" Please how do I locate this sensor and how much will it cost to buy another one. I have also noticed (this happens only in the morning when the engine is cold) that the engine shuts down each time I turn the engine on.I have to step on the throttle to keep the engine from shutting down.but after sometime the engine can run on idle without shutting itself down

The problem is not related to code P1155, the code is related to the idle air control valve which is located on the throttle body it can be removed and cleaned the carbon built up does not let the valve move so the car shuts off, my mom cars had the same issue

remove it, it is attached to the throttle body with screws there is a small gasket on it since coolent also passes by it to warm it up that is why when the car is warm there is no problem. Clean it with WD40 then wash it off with brake cleaner, you can move the valve fully open or closed to clean it.

P1155 is bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor it is in front of the engine behind the radiator

it is not causing the problem
