Do 07 Eclipse GT fault codes auto clear after no fault starts?

Service engine soon light came on after the engine started with some mis-firing, first time this has ever happened in 75,000 mi. I don't have a OBD scanner, is it possible to get the codes without using one?

Apparently the GT does not have that option, it will clear on its own as long as the ECM see that there is no failure, this should clear at the third igntiion start up or drive cycle. The Mitsubishi Eclipse are sensitive to sparkplug foul up and do cause misfire to prevent this Mitsubishi recommends, that if the vehicle is driven for a short period of time , that the engine is allowed to reach  normal operating temperature before shutting down.
