P1405 2001 Ford F150 -

Question

I took my 2001 F150 in because the check engine light came on.The Code P1405 came up and the mechanic replaced my differential sensor but I keep getting the check engine light and same code.

Where exactly are the PCM, EGR ,EVR and DPFE located so that I can check them myself

The differential pressure sensor is the EGR on Ford's. you may have to clean the tubing since they do clog up from carbon buildup.

the DPFE sensor might need to be replace if nothing else helps
