Hi, Van had had minor driveability issues. Major tune up did not solve. Stumbles at low RPM (idles fine) higher RPM smooths out. Recent no start and started fine +/- 1 hour later. Service engine soon light finally came on. Scanned codes and got No DTC (with the service engine soon light on) Cleared codes and finally got "Random Missfire Detected". Next day, no start condition again. The no start condition it cranks over but backfires thru intake and kicks back on starter, timing all over the place. Got P1351 after no start. Ignition Module is fine. wiring and connections visually OK. ECM replacement has to go to a dealer to be flashed and programmed. Can I take a ECM out of same year/engine/trans same basic van and install in this dead one? Anything else it may be aside from ECM?

P1351 IC circuit voltage high

This will not cause a back fire through the intake with P1351 it just that a no start. Try this the at the ICM there is a Pink wire and a White/Black wire wiggle it see if there is a RPM change. or a bad ground at the ICM. The no start condition and backfire at the intake check the CKP (crank position sensor) The back fire and no start the CKP is more suspected , As for replacing the ECM which what the vehicle has is a VCM you can change VCM to the year make and module as long as the number match
