How do I pull the codes on a 2000 Honda Odyssey that has Check Engine light & TCS light on?

Husband wants to pull the codes but can't find info on how to do so himself. He is a DIY type guy, ex mechanic. Honda runs fine but can't clear the codes after cleaning mess left by pack rat in engine compartment. Wiring is intact.

You need a scan tool or a code reader to  access the code or clear the code. When a CK ENG LT comes on it means a componenet does not operate as intended. it also turns off the TRAC or TCS this is for a safety reason that Honda has implemented
