2007 Dodge Charger RT 5.7L with engine code P0524

Question

Ok so this code is stating that my oil pressure sensor is bad but i just recently replaced it less than a week ago. why is the code still showing? My oil reading is fine.

if you have not replaced the oil in the last 4 k miles and you did not use 5w-20 oil weight, replace the oil

dirty oil or the wrong weight can cause this issue.

if that does not solve the problem you will have to check the wiring to the oil pressure sensor.
