P0522 Engine oil pressure sensor circuit low

What can cause this code condition is its supply voltage is shorted to ground, its signal is shorted to ground or the sensor itself is shorted internally

Dodge Charger Code P0522

This Dodge had only a P0522 code showing only, just with this code it had a hard time starting at times, and when it did start it had poor acceleration, Just the way it sounds at idle, this would not be a mechanical condition with the oil pressure, it also had a rough slight idle.

What caused P0522 to set was the EOP sensor was internally shorting out.

By shorting out it affects the 5 volts reference to the other circuit, such as the TPS, and crankshaft position sensor, as well as the APP sensor, this explained why the vehicle has a rough idle and poor acceleration with the TPS. Replacing the EOP sensor fixes all the problems.
