Which adapter REALLY works for a 2003 Infiniti i35?

Question

I have tried 3 other adapters that were stated to work with the 2003 Infiniti i35 and none did. All connected via BT fine, but none would connect with the cars ECU. So before I order another and have another one to return, I want to double check to make sure it will read the ECU on this vehicle! I am using Torque-Pro.

BTW, the port is good---I just had readings taken at at my local NAPA store for free.

A regular ELM327 (bluetooth or wifi) should work, if it does not work use a different app.
