Hello I had an engine light come on volvo 2005 s60 awd turbo car runs fine what do u think is wrong

if you have not replaced the oil in the last 4k miles replace the oil and oil filter. Use the correct weight on oil (5w-30) 

dirty or low oil can cause this issue.
