I have a 1999 volvo v70 turbo. I bought it a few months ago and now Im putting in thousands of dollars! I just cant keep doing this.
It is leaking oil. I brought it in to a authorized AAA repair shop 3 weeks ago. They said it was a seal to the turbo. 3 weeks later the check engine light goes on. The engine has been leaking oil. (My dumb ass son has been driving it and he wasnt checking the oil or leak)
I bring it back and there is so much oil all through-out the engine, they say they cant tell where the leak is, however where they fixed it is puddling!.
They clean up the engine and told me to drive it for a week and bring it back so they can see where the leak is.

Im dumb founded. I dont want to drive it! They said the light code was P0236 but they are not sure if it is the atmosphere sensor or the boost sensor.

My son said that it was burning through fuel. That would be the air mass sensor and the air mass meter boot (right?)

I'm a single mom, 3 kids, between jobs, I can not be ripped off. Please help!

Vehicle: 1999, Volvo, V70, 2.4lt

P0236 Atmospheric pressure sensor / Boost pressure sensor

This is a faulty signal for the boost sensor , because this is turbo this becomes both a atmospheric and boost sensor, and a better term that Volvo should call it like every other manufactuer is a MAP (Manifold absolute pressure) sensor. This has nothing to do with the oil leak this is a common failure from useage.
