We replaced the Cam and Crank sensors but the engine never starts up with both connected. Instead, the car starts up normally when we disconnect the Cam shaft sensor. We believe that we may either have faulty wires to one of these sensors or that something is wrong with our computer. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the cause of this so I can having a starting place to look at?

P0340 Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

You probable got this code just by disconnecting the camshaft position sensor , If you disconnect the camshaft sensor and the car start, you may have a grounded camshaft sensor that affects the MFI relay. without the MFI relay being operational the fuel injector will not operate.
