I have run a diagnostic and get 2 indications for this code, 1 is a warning triangle and the other looks like a clock, suggests to me it may be an historical record of a similar event?

Other research has suggested that if the sensor is not at fault then it is a stretched timing chain, are there any other checks I should carry out before I condemn the chain?

The car would pass this next Roadworthiness test but would need a front crossmember to pass the next one, I am reluctant to spend big money at this point!
