P0340 Jeep - My jeep grand cherokee WJ says this code but...

My Jeep's check engine light was only on for half of a day. I also have been having starting issues, i put the key in turn it, have power but doesn't start, turn the key back and then it starts right up. could this be a starter issue not crankshaft position sensor?

Starter issue or ignition switch issue. just by turning the key back make it seem more or a ignition switch than it does with the starter.
