My mechanic checked this code -- found nothing. Also P2229 he checked and still found nothing. ??? I've had a lot of repairs on the vehicle and anytime someone checks what the codes indicate, they found nothing. Car runs perfectly fine. Should I try buying a new gas cap -- just to see? Air filter is clean. Suggestions w/o going to a Honda Dealership?
Thank you.

P0175 means too much fuel and not enough air. Its possible the air to fuel ratio sensor is bad (bank 2 sensor 1)

I would check fuel pressure (should be 55 psi - 63 psi at idle), if the fuel pressure is good you may need to get the valves adjusted.

for P2229 check the connections to the PCM
