P0730 Audi - R gear fine, D fails as revs rise and all gear lights selector lights come on

I'm suspecting it's an O ring failure inside the auto box. But anyone had a similar fail. It seems thses boxes fail a lot on D2 A8s

P0730 Incorrect gear ratio

What fails in these transmission is the transmission RPM sensor , there are 2 RPM sensor that the transmission uses, the RPM sensor in the valve body is more prone to fail. When the transmission gear selsector light come on this is more of its indication that the TCM has detected this as a open circuit.
