I have a toyota 1997 CE Camry-I replaced the knock sensor after it threw a code for the knock sensor,, The auto parts store told me I need to drive it 70 or 100 miles after I replaced it for the engine light to shut off,, The light was turned off and It came back on after replacing the knock senor ,However, I have not drove the car 100 miles yet, since I Replaced the knock sensor..

did you use a aftermarket knock sensor? did you replace the short harness also?

replacing the short harness is recommended with the replacing the knock sensor.
