At least once every ride, the car will not idle. It will all of a sudden idle at very low RPM then eventually quit. If I hold the pedal in and maintain one thousand rpm's the engine will not die. I have to hold the brake with my left foot to do this when stopping. Eventually the problem will just disappear until the next episode. Usually, the situation will recover even when the car is off. Sometimes it doesn't. Then, I have to hold the pedal in a bit to get the car started. The car is showing a check engine and the code comes back for the throttle position sensor. I have replace it twice to and it has not resolved the error code or the stalling issue. When it won't idle it almost seems like the idle air valve is not opening, hence if I keep my foot on the gas a little to idle or to start, it runs "normally". Thanks.
