Problem happens after cruising at 45-55mph and then breaking. Attempt to accelerate results in rising RPM with no descernable increase in speed. The auto seems to be in neutral.

Any transmission fluid leaks? Low fluid level can set this code condition , Failed transmission solenoids,internal transmission mechanical problem can set this code condition, When it comes to MBZ with this code condition a rebuilt or new transmission is the only solution
