I have a 2004 monte carlo and check engine light was on.

Question

I cleaned out all tubes and took plenum off that goes to egr valve.They were stopped up.Check engine light is off.Ran dianostic with 3100 abs tool and there are no dtc.When cold it has codeP0001 and coolent temp not up which I would think is normal.Does not show this after it has been run.The car has been sitting for awhile,All codes are clear except my tool shows a blinking ev light on tool and a yellow light,which says I may not pass emissions?Do I have to drive car a certain amount of miles for it to reset computer and how many,or maybe something I have overlooked...thks

The service manual does not have any of those codes you are getting. Try to use a different OBD-II the one you are using is not compatible with your car
