I got the engine code P0601 on my 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7L. Will the door chime continue to chime with this code p0601?

Hi there,

This code indicates there is an internal problem with the PCM. You cannot erase it and will have to replace the control module to resolve the problem. It is very possible the chime would continue to run.
