P0840 & P 0845 2008 nissan sentra

Question

check engine light came on so had it checked. codes were P0840 & P0845. seems like the car only has high gear or wont go into low gear. what should I do? would the sensors really cause this problem or keep it from shifting properly? what should I do to fix or address this issue?
